So the story goes!!!

This will be a list of pictures......and that's the story folks!!!

In conclusion to my last post, I had to put back together that poor computer that I had taken apart, and believe it or not.......it booted right up on the first try!!! Ta-Da!

And don't you know that while Mama is doing all of this schooling, her boys have been busy training as well?!?
Future Meter Reader?!?
Or competitive eater?!?

This one is busy making all A's and having perfect attendance!!!

Making an appearance as Bible Man at a friend's super hero birthday party!

And training with Upward to be the next big NBA star!!!
And two of the best things about his training at Upward are:
Learning from the Coach how to be sportsman like by cheering on your teammates accomplishments!
And learning to pray before every game for the players, coaches, referees, and fans!!! See the little boy in glasses on the left of the picture?!?!

And that concludes the training portion of this story!!!

Technician T

So, I know you are all (both of you who reads this...haha!) wondering how school is going for me!!!
Well, so far, it's been great!! Last semester, I successfully completed 12 credit hours with all A's! This semester, I am also taking 12 credit hours, 6 of them online, and 6 of them on campus. Being away from home two nights a week is really rough already, but this too shall pass, and it will be worth it one day! I am so thankful for sweet hubby and his support!

One of my classes is A+ Hardware/Software Support. And, on the 2nd night of class, we got to take apart computers that already didn't work. On the third night of class, we got to take apart our computers that we do our work on!!! Eek!!!

Just call me Technician T!
The guts!!! All that is left is the motherboard!

That's a power supply, hard drive, floppy drive, and CD drive!
And when we meet for our next class, we get to put it all back together!!!

And props to our teacher, who is the most patient person alive!!! He does the best job of explaining things to us.....and no, he doesn't read this and I am not brown-nosing!!! I am merely thankful!

The next time you need your desktop PC torn apart, call Technician T!

Dedication

Please join us as we dedicate our son
Nicholas Brees Givens
to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as a testament of
our faith in Him, to help guide us as we raise him in the fear
and admonition of the Lord.

Nicholas Brees, I dedicate you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Almost our whole family was there!

I could have totally kicked myself, because about 5 of us had our cameras, but forgot to give them to anyone to get pictures! Our church films each service, and streams it live over the net, so luckily, we have it all on DVD, plus I took pictures of the computer screen when I mashed pause!! haha! That Computer Technology degree is coming right along!

We went to a local eatery (Danny's Fried Chicken!Ha!) afterwards, and got several pictures there.
Daddy and Nicholas
Mama and Noah (who broke his glasses playing with cousins!)

Poppy and Meme

Grammy and Papa (she still looks at him like that after almost 30 years!!!)

Uncle Rod, Anthony, Aunt Richie, and Felicity (who belongs to one of my sisters!)

Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Steve (Felicity's parents!)

Jessi and Uncle Phil

And for some reason, the rest of D's family wasn't pictured....but they were there! Maybe I can slip this one in from the Friday night before, and it will blend right in! Ha!

Uncle Joe, Aunt Gina, Meme and Poppy!

I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.

Oh Deer!

Our sweet niece Jessica is expecting her first baby, little Cole, and oh deer...Aunt T threw her a baby shower this past weekend for our local family members!!! She and her hubby live in MS, so I don't get to see her often, but I can say that she is definitely one of my closest friends, and I am so happy to be her aunt!!!
Baby Willow Bedding Collection
Sweet Cole's nursery bedding is done in a theme called "Baby Willow" and I decided for the baby shower, I would try to match it. Here are a few memories from that day!
Aunt T, Mommy, and Cole

The tables!

See the moss and the deer?!?

The punch and water, simply labeled Jessica's Baby Shower

I served a lunch with all of mom's cravings!

Almost 4 generations!!! Cole, Mommy Jessica, Grandma Gina, and Great Grandma Betty!

Mom goes first!

Joseph Cole's cake, along with Aunt T's chocolate dipped pretzels and marshmallows!

The diaper cake Aunt T made, along with some homemade goodies from a cousin!

What was left of the cake, marshmallows and pretzels!!! Also, the favor bags!
I think everyone had a great time showering Jessica with love, advice, and gifts!!!
Now we just have to wait another 10 or so weeks for little Cole to make his debut!!! I cannot wait!

Happy New Year!

First, let me say this, I had a whole post typed up the other night, and all loaded down with Christmas pictures, and for some reason, not only did it not post, but it did not save! Ugh! Maybe later, maybe not. Just know we had a wonderful season celebrating our King's birthday!

Now, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!!!

New Year's Day is mine and my hubby's wedding anniversary also! 01-01-13. This year, we celebrated it on New Year's Eve, when we had to run an errand in Panama City, FL anyway. We had sitters for the kids, and off we went! 3 hours to pick up one little thing we needed for Noah, that Santa gave us instructions for!!! Hah!

Anyway, while in FL, we decided to head to McGuire's in Destin, FL for lunch. We ate there the night we got married, and on at least 6 of our anniversaries!
Headed to Destin 12-31-12
