A few from Easter

Getting ready for a BIG yard sale tomorrow, so I have no time to do a "real post" but before Christmas, I though it'd be a good time to post a few of our Easter pictures!

We went green for Easter!

Noah took the picture below! It was his idea to get one of just Daddy and Mama! (And baby brother...see!)
Here I am with Baby Brother...who shall remain nameless it looks like!
I am 24 weeks here.

And here's my big boy!

He is too big for his britches here (figuratively!)!

And I threw this one in....it's Derrick's mom's family...

L to R...
Back Row-Uncle Frank, Uncle Ken, Uncle Joe

Front Row-Aunt Milly, and Mom Givens!

And totally off subject, but at the top of my list....please pray for the state of Alabama. These tornadoes have just been vicious....I think God is trying to open our eyes and shake us up a little bit, just like we'd do if our children were messing up! I've been listening for that trumpet to sound at any time now!!!

I have family who were close (blocks away) from some of these bad storms, and I thank God that their lives and homes were spared. Some people were not as fortunate, and I pray that God will minister to those families, and that they would feel His peace.

More later!

Have a good weekend!

Spring Break 2011!!!!

We are in full Spring Break mode around here....hope everyone else is having such pretty weather!

I am also still working on a post about the boat....it's such a long story, but I just wanted to share some of your spring break in pictures!

We started our week off right....on the River!

The captain is my favorite.......

Oh yeah, and we had some visitors from Tennessee....Derrick's mom and dad came down too!
Noah was so happy to be with them.

See Poppy back there? Here's a shot of captain and first mate....bahahahaa......first MATE! haha.Funny.

And while we were out and about on Fish River, we found these folks...
...it's my brother and his family!

Again, I am working on a post about our boat, but you can admire it here...

Our week has also been filled with visitors....

Noah and Felicity

And the next day we had Felicity and Anthony...

Notice how Noah decorated our breakfast table?!?

Noah and I happened to have dentist appointments that day, so we headed out....

....and our favorite part about the dentist is that Grammy works there!

And I know what you are thinking, but my brother looks more like her than I do.

Anyway, it was lunch time, so she and I decided to take a picnic lunch to a local park, and boy was that a fun time!

So, when it was all gone, we went and played.
Anthony did a great job of clearing his plate!

Then Wednesday brought us MeMe and Poppy's dog, Curly....and we decided to help them out by giving him a washing!

And I think some of us enjoyed it a little more than we should have....

Doesn't Curly look like he's having the time of his life?!?

Then Thursday brought even more fun and surprises. Noah and I were supposed to go visit NaNa for lunch, but somehow we ended up with a few more guests! She knew nothing about it. I picked her up and told her we had a surprise for her.....she had no clue. It was truly a fun day.

There's Cameron, NaNa, Me, my sista Rhonda, Noah, Felicity, and Anthony.....along with hotdogs and the fixin's, chips, tater salad, beans and cookies!

Rhonda, NaNa and Me. This was a rare occasion, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

And I'm hoping Friday's forecast has a little rest time in it before our busy Easter weekend....I'll be back with more on that!

It's been so long....

....since my last blog post!

In my defense, we have been very very busy!

I have started my garden, volunteered a good bit at Noah's school, nesting....ah....spring cleaning if you will....getting ready for a upcoming yard sale, but our main project has been.....

...and I have been working on a tell all post with details about this Crimson Tide Yacht.

Be back soon!!!!

Move over Picasso

Here comes Felicity Michelle!

She is my ever-so-talented niece, and she's an aspiring artist!

And she has very good taste in jackets!

Here we are at 1 am Christmas morning!

Back in July, my family threw me a birthday party, and my mom asked me what kind of cake I wanted, I told her a homemade one! So, this is what I got. But Felicity did the flowers on it.

This next picture goes even further back to June 2009, when a local artist was sharing some of his huge talent with the kids at a library program.

This is what they came up with! And her most recent work, last night, I was at a baby shower, and Felicity (and her parents!) watched Noah for me, and when I got to their house to pick him up, she had this for me! She painted it in art club yesterday at school! I was so honored!

Of course, Noah wanted one with his name, so she told him next week she'd be right on it!

I'm so proud of my little miss priss, and can't wait to see what else she does!
